THE WHIP - DIVEBOMB

"A gleaming example of dancefloor slaying techno pop, DIVEBOMB finds The Whip on sparkling form"

Delving into full on technohead mode for their latest single, Manchester duo The Whip are back with a storming slab of Daft Punk meets Royskopp dancefloor slaying madness with DIVEBOMB.
DIVEBOMB is an explosion of cold synth riffs and big beats, echoes of Daft Punk, Mylo and Royskopp ringing out loud and proud, this perhaps The Whip's most radio friendly and mass appeal moment to date.  Elsewhere, the CRYSTAL CASTLES REMIX gives the original a boosch-boosch-boosch beat Detroit techno makeover; just the right side of cheesy and with enough schizoid electro madness to make The Chemical Brothers green with envy.
A gleaming example of dancefloor slaying techno pop, DIVEBOMB finds The Whip on sparkling form.

BIOGRAPHY
"Those blokes muttering 'New Order' at the bar must somehow be aurally squinting at the electro kaleidescope of The Whip. They've missed the Numan, Klaxons, Rapture, Kraftwerk and Joy Division bits that make them the best thing to happen to dance music since James Murphy's delusions of time travel". NME live from Camden Crawl.
