THE HAIR - DISCO/RETRO

"Decent rather than great, DISCO / RETRO finds The Hair making promising moves on the indie dancefloor."

A band injecting some early nineties baggyness into their punk funk musical stew, The Hair are a four piece outfit who sound like the results of a drunken punch up between the Happy Mondays and The Rapture.
New single DISCO / RETRO is a funky enough little number, an indie dancefloor filler with just the right amount of crunching guitar action, baggy beats and anthemic vocals to go around.  Perhaps lacking the crossover appeal of a band like Kasabian or the innovative edge of LCD Soundsystem, The Hair nevertheless inhabit a groovy middle ground that gets the job done.
Decent rather than great, DISCO / RETRO finds The Hair making promising moves on the indie dancefloor.

BIOGRAPHY
Hello, we're the Hair. We were born out of a love of baggy, hip hop, big beats, and Justin Timberlake. We've evolved into the four headed minotaur of the dancefloor we are today over years of hard musical graft, elocution lessons and high fibre diets. Please take time to browse through our musical wares scoping the visual souvenirs along the way, and don't forget to pass comment on our chiseled abs and stunning features.
