Sounding like they've been raised on a steady diet of latter day Oasis and a hefty dose of seventies rock, The Daniels are a three piece outfit who certainly aren't placing originality at the top of their priority list.

Latest single LIGHTS is a suitably blues rock stomper, all thunderous drum sounds and big riffs, The Daniels despite their derivative tendencies, still a band who certainly know how to belt out a decent rock tune. Its just a shame that LIGHTS is just that though, a decent rock tune; nothing more and nothing less.

LIGHTS is a crushingly average sounding single from The Daniels, decent enough as things stand, but hardly anything worth getting very excited about.

The Daniels were formed in April 2005. They are: SHAUN POOLE- guitar,vocals THOM COX- bass,vocals DUANE POOLE- drums The Daniels have worked hard to get their unique sound which owes an amount of influence to the seventies rock/blues era. They have been together for three years and it has been a great start: many successful gigs; a well produced demo; a single released to be distrubuted Turmic Records; air play on Kerrang Radio. The Daniels are working with M.A.S Records and are very excited about the year ahead. The band have just finished recording their second single LIGHTS.
