SELF RELEASED
TRACKLISTING Messiah's Day Hampshire based Nephwrack are a band making rock music without too many bells and whistles, keeping things simple and streamlined; five guys in a room making music.
Latest single, MESSIAH'S DAY sounds like the ultimate lighters in the air, anthemic rock gesture. This is a song almost destined for outdoor summer festivals, and you can almost see the swaying crowds as the song progresses - gently building to its natural crescendos and sweeping choruses. Obvious and predictable, but also genuinely satisfying.
Nephwrack are pulling off some classic rock moves here, a band with the obvious potential to do something big, MESSIAH'S DAY a single that for what it lacks in originality more than makes up for in passion and heart.
BIOGRAPHY
Nephwrack are a quintet based in Hampshire, strikingly original musically but still maintaining an identifiably British take on heavy metal. Their aggressive, progressive sound has been honed over the years into the established reputation and canon of live favourites now associated with the Nephwrack attack.
Nephwracks current, and definitive, line-up is five comrades taking their message & coruscating melodic metal sound to an even bigger & truly global audience.
But don't just take our word for it :
"Nephwrack's songs are perfectly executed and produced, and as big-sounding and anthemic as anything produced in the US. However, they resist the urge to imitate the giants of US metal and, in doing so, produce an album which is eclectic, inspired and refreshingly and identifiably British."
