Undoubtedly, another of those singer/songwriter types who'll be huge this time next year; Jack Savoretti is a another sensitive soul with the kind of smooth vocal style and inoffensively slick manner that puts him in the same musical territory as your James Blunts and David Greys.
Debut single MORE THAN ENOUGH is a blandly smooth and stylised song that does little to really excite but nevertheless suggests Pearce as a major pop star in the making. Hinged on a soaring chorus and sweeping orchestral flourishes, MORE THAN ENOUGH practically demands its place on daytime radio schedules, Jamie Pearce singing with a tasteful croon that sums up the slightly soulful but ultimately forgettable singer/songwriter phenomenon thats currently dominating the mainstream music scene.
Slick, smooth and slightly bland, MORE THAN ENOUGH is nevertheless likely to see Jamie Pearce emerging as a major pop star; this may be depressingly predictable stuff, but Jamie Pearce looks likely to follow in the steps of James Blunt, Jack Johnson, James Morrison and the rest very soon indeed.
