Favouring pristine pop melodies, chunky power chords and shimmering guitar lines, Eskimo Brit are a pop three piece writing bittersweet pop tunes. Sounding like KT Tunstall crossbred with Crowded House, debut single PARADISE is radio friendly melodic pop that whilst sounding a little too sugarsweet to truly love has a charm and warmth to it that's hard to ignore.
Frontwoman SammyJo Wytkin croons pleasantly over proceedings with gentle charm, crisp acoustic guitar chords keeping the song feather light and airy. Elsewhere the slick pop of DON'T WAKE THE NEIGHBOURS finds SammyJo coming over all soul diva and delivering a more powerful vocal performance that touches on modern RnB whilst the dirty powerchords of I DON'T WANNA find Eskimo Brit delivering a song likely to give the likes of Girls Aloud and the Sugababes a few sleepless nights.
Nothing particularly groundbreaking or fresh here, but as a band delivering slick mainstream pop sounds, Eskimo Brit are an outfit firing on all cylinders; PARADISE, a confident and self assured debut.

BIOGRAPHY
Eskimo Brit release glorious powerpop anthem PARADISE on February 12th, a debut single that will showcase Eskimo Brit as a band to watch out for in 2007.
SammyJo says; "It's about how different paradise is to each person; everyone has their own; a big house, fast car, spending time with someone special, all of those things or none of them. Maybe, like Chris, it's Cat Deeley in a bowlful of Jelly?"
Singing since she was 11, drumming since she was 15, SammyJo is something of an anomaly, her powerful lead vocals belting out from behind a set of drums, her radio mic clipped to a head of waist-length golden locks, flawless make-up and a curve-hugging little black dress - not your usual find behind the Toms.
With drumming heroes such as Phil Collins, Cosy Powell, and Sheila E (Who has been a source of advice and support.) SammyJo's drive knows no bounds. Already drumming for Carol Decker and playing for music industry gatherings in Nashville, Washington, Copenhagen, and Norway to name a few, a chance meeting with Chris Pickard (Guitar) and friend Lee Dawson (Bass Guitar) at SXSW lead to the creation of Eskimo Brit. "We just got on so well, so quickly and eat, sleep and breathe music." says Lee.
With a full UK tour being lined up for early 2007, and exciting developments in the pipeline Eskimo Brit are set for big things.
