TRACKLISTING
The White One Is Evil

Typically generic pop punk full of catchy choruses and crashing powerchords, York four-piece Elliot Minor aren't doing anything radically different or fresh.  There's nothing here that's going to push things forward or break new ground; originality and innovation don't seem to be that high on the agenda here.
THE WHITE ONE IS EVIL is your typical, melodic punk pop effort, Elliot Minor unleashing catchy melodies and big guitar crashes galore, all very Fall Out Boy meets Busted.  With only the introduction of some chirpy piano chords and an overblown orchestral crescendo towards the end to try to stamp some individuality on proceedings, THE WHITE ONE IS EVIL is strictly derivative and by-the-numbers stuff.
Elliot Minor aren't offering anything remotely new or fresh here with THE WHITE ONE IS EVIL, but as ultra melodic punk pop thrills go, they at least offer up an accomplished sound that hints towards the ambitious.

BIOGRAPHY
Heralded by Kerrang! as “Muse meeting Fall Out Boy”, the band have already charted with their debut ‘Parallel Worlds’ and the Top 20 follow-up ‘Jessica’ and played to a 10,000 capacity festival crowd at Download’s Dimebag Darrell Stage. It’s evident that Elliot Minor are Britain’s biggest best kept secret.
The band are currently mixing their debut album.  Produced by Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Incubus), their self-titled album was recorded in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Musically, Elliot Minor mix influences ranging from the piano-infused hard rock of ‘Time After Time’ to the sonically charged ‘Parallel Worlds’, which is embellished with grandiose orchestration. They deliver pitch perfect three-way vocal harmonies on the infectious ‘The White One is Evil’ and add an undertone of ultra-melodic punk to ‘Still Figuring It Out’.  Their video for “Jessica” is the most requested video on Kerrang TV.
In the live arena, Elliot Minor perform with an accomplishment that belies their youth, and are about to embark on a full UK tour.
Elliot Minor are:  Alex Davies – lead vocals / guitar, Ed Minton –  guitar / vocals, Teddy Hetherton - bass, Dan Hetherton – drums /  backing vocals, Ali Paul – keyboard
