What Do They Care?
ON THE ROAD RECORDS

Following debut release ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!, five piece indie rockers Ejectorseat return with another fired up single in the form of the electrified WHAT DO THEY CARE?
A wired electro shock of inspired punk funk jerkiness, WHAT DO THEY CARE? is an energised collage of electro, punk and pop, Ejectorseat making a noise that sounds like Editors brawling with Franz Ferdinand at a Duran Duran concert.
The bands lead singer howls like a more wired version of Alex Kapranos, yelping excitedly over high speed beats, distorted guitar riffs and electro squelches and squeals. The jerky pop immediacy of WHAT DO THEY CARE? is the sound of a thousand indie discos being thrown into a sweaty mass of flailing limbs and drunken dance moves, nursery rhyme lyrics set to violent stabs of angry sounding synth pop.
A vital and exciting new band, WHAT DO THEY CARE? is the sound of Ejectorseat kickstarting the party with violent urgency and viscous glee.

BIOGRAPHY
Ejectorseat skydived into the scene in 2006 after the incendiary debut ATTACK!! ATTACK! ATTACK! caught the attention of many, including Steve Lamacq and Jonathan Ross. The record reached the number 9 position in the iTunes Alternative Chart placing them firmly on the radar of tastemakers and air guitar brandishers alike.
Their new single WHAT DO THEY CARE? is an attitude driven, relentlessly addictive post-electro clash. Their inimitable blend of strong lyrics, pop melodies and electro synths are supported by a web of heavy guitar riffage - the group describe their sound as "an indie band trapped inside a Nintendo".
The band were originally formed by guitarist Barrington Mole and vocalist Peter Backler, who, in Barrington's words "picked up the rest of the riff raff on the way". Alongside their new recruits Phil Tonge (bass), Luke 'The Bear' (synth) and James Dowse (drums), Ejectorseat have been staking their claim on stages across the UK.
