All About This / A Factory Of Minds
TOUGH LOVE RECORDS

The latest bunch of indie kids to discover that mixing punk and disco can have truly exciting results, Italian three piece Disco Drive follow the likes of The Rapture, Radio 4 and The Bravery to dancefloor slaying glory.
An incendiary eruption of wired guitar jerkiness, disco beats and yelping vocal interjections, ALL ABOUT THIS bridges the gaps between big beat, emo, p-funk and straight forward pop; a song that sounds like the most indie dancefloor slaying tune ever heard. Constantly shifting between aggressive punk posturing, disco attitude and indie shuffles, Disco Drive sound like about five bands at once at any given time, the sound of the rule book being torn up and thrown from a fourteenth floor window. Flipside A FACTORY OF MINDS, is if anything, an even fresher sounding affair, a loose limbed groove that culminates in tribalistic foot stomping beats.
Infectious, incendiary and thrilling, ALL ABOUT THIS is an in-your-face statement of intent from a band you're going to learn to adore.

BIOGRAPHY
Italian postpunk three piece Disco Drive, release their long-awaited debut UK single through Tough Love Records. ALL ABOUT THIS and A FACTORY OF MINDS feature on the double A-side 7" single and will be strictly limited to just 500 hand-numbered copies.
The release of ALL ABOUT THIS follows three hugely successful European tours, including a well-received jaunt across the U.K. in the spring of 2006. Disco Drive's support slots read like a who's who of right now, having graced the same stage as the likes of Q and not U, The Long Blondes, Metrononmy, The Black Keys, The Organ and Hot Club de Paris. Back in Italy, Disco Drive's energetic and compelling live show has garnered a huge fanbase, playing to crowds of thousands at summer festivals. Their debut album WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE (Unhip Records) is already into its third pressing, with the band collecting numerous accolades, including best Italian debut of 2005 alongside an MTV Best Live Act nomination. The band have already made an indelible impression in the U.K., having featured on a recent Artrocker cover CD and received airplay on both Xfm and Steve Lamacq's Radio One show.
Building on the devoted following earned through superb performances at established club nights such as Liars Club, Purr Live and Artrocker Club, Disco Drive embark on their second U.K. tour in February.
