CIRCUITS - YOUNG ENOUGH NOT TO CARE

"Still a little bit too in thrall to the likes of The Libertines and The Police to completely convince, Circuits however continue to make an excitable indie pop noise with YOUNG ENOUGH NOT TO CARE."

Sounding like The Libertines stuck in a jam session with Razorlight and suffering from a serious Police obsession; London based four-piece Circuits make an upbeat indie-pop noise that immediately suggests the summer has just arrived early.
Dipping their toes in reggae, punk and ska, latest single YOUNG ENOUGH NOT TO CARE is the bands latest slice of perky pop.  Making some sizeable pop waves, chirpy melodies bang up against spiky guitar hooks; the entire thing imbued with a real sense of the infectious.  Vocalist Benny croons like a more youthful Sting, his excitable vocal gymnastics lending Circuits a real sense of personality and charm.

BIOGRAPHY
London based reggae infused punk 4-piece Circuits are to release their debut single on June 12th.
Circuits have spent the better part of 2006 creating a substantial live buzz as well as a loyal following: gigging alongside such artists as The Holloways, Rumble Strips, Howling Bells, Crazy Girl, Sargasso Trio and The Fever, as well as making appearances at FROG@Meanfiddler, Throwing Rocks@Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes and Cargo, as well as too many more of London's less salubrious venues to mention.
"As refreshing as an explosion in an Um-Bongo factory", according to Artrocker.
Inspired by an eclectic bunch of both artists and genres but with their hearts and minds belonging to dub and reggae, they bring you their very own brand of rocket fuelled pop punk at breakneck speed.  Drenched with dub bass, Morse code like guitar, relentless drums and melodic hooks: it's frantic, it's fast and twitching with energy.
RADIO SILENCE is a prime example of Circuits' rampant spikey guitar pop.  It takes a tongue in cheek look at the media and its role in our lives as a harbinger of doom and gloom: suggesting that perhaps no news really is good news.
HALF READ BOOK is the other side of Circuits' coin.  It's a dark, bass heavy and sinister track about having arguments with your self and never winning.
