TRACKLISTING
Suicide Girl Pi-Polar Baby

A Birmingham based four piece, Bi-Polar Baby are a band who do that whole female fronted indie rock thing with near exquisite perfection.
Latest single SUICIDE GIRL sees frontwoman Kaytee De Wolfe growling suggestively amidst the dirty rock n roll noise, a mixture of PJ Harvey, Throwing Muses and The Kills.  Its clear that Bi-Polar Bay are one of those special bands; evoking the same kind of tingle you felt when hearing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, PJ Harvey or Huggy Bear for the first time.  SUICIDE GIRL is a deliciously dark and dirty sounding slice of suggestive indie rock, fuzzy guitar grooves rubbing up against driving drum beats and that intense vocal delivery.

BIOGRAPHY
Bi-Polar Baby are a female fronted five piece band from Birmingham, England. They are masters of sweet, sinuous melodies and evocative arrangements with dark edges, but can also give you vital guitar pop and rock solos worthy of air-guitar tributes. The current lineup is Texan born Kaytee DeWolfe (vocals / lyrics), Pete Moth (guitar), Wayne Page (lead guitar), Jim Perkin-Ball (bass), Julian Forshaw (drums, percussion).
A regular fixture on the Birmingham rock scene, Bi-Polar Baby formed in late 2004 from the ashes of the disbanded band, CrazyFace. The name was taken from one of their songs after dropping the moniker Sedona, having discovered that it was also the name of a (rubbish) car. BPB’s songs typically consist of Kaytee’s haunting vocals, laden with guts and vibrato, telling stories of lost not-so-little girls, and the delusions of modern living. Accompanied by dark electric guitar and undulating bass, they have written a series of unforgettable songs, both epic and catchy, melancholic yet punchy, combining contemporary flair with classic beauty.
All members are experienced musicians. Throughout 2005 & 2006, they have played extensively on the Birmingham circuit, finding a spiritual home in Moseley’s Jug of Ale. Bi-Polar Baby have enjoyed the support of the late Rob Dentith of Kerrang!'s 'Unsigned Sunday' show, won the favour of DJ Tom Robinson and have supported The Hedrons in B'ham on their One More Won't Kill Us album tour. Three sessions with Gavin Monaghan at Magic Garden Studios went someway to realising the band's recording potential and have resulted in a collection of demos: the haunting 'Angeline', the formidable eponymous track 'Bi-Polar Baby' and the mischievous pop rock of 'Sugar'. The sessions led to a Magic Garden showcase performance at the Varsity in Wolverhampton in November 2006. They are currently in the process of releasing their first single Suicide Girl, which is due for official independent release this summer on own label, Blacklustre Records. An EXCLUSIVE and enticing (pre-release) clip of the track (recorded at Magic Garden) can now be heard on this page...
